Job Title: Field Sales Business Development Manager

Job Summary

  • PalmPay is looking for a proactive and performance-driven Field Sales Business Development Manager to drive the adoption of our ATM Card solutions and onbord agent’s to enable market expansion.
  • The ideal candidate is a strategic sales professional with a deep understanding of Nigeria’s retail, SME, and informal markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Agent Acquisition & Activation
  • Identify and onboard agents across markets and key informal sectors.
  • Promote PalmPay’s ATM Card payment adoption.
  • Educate agents on transaction processes, benefits, and settlement terms.
  • Ensure successful agent’s activation and early transaction ramp-up.
  • Field Sales Execution
  • Conduct physical sales visits, product demos, and onboarding sessions.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective merchants and partners.
  • Collect market intelligence and provide feedback to improve product-market fit.
  • Team Coordination & Agent Oversight
  • Work with and supervise field sales agents to expand merchant network.
  • Ensure targets are met through training, motivation, and field support.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly performance using CRM tools.
  • Report on acquisition metrics, transaction growth, and activation success rates.
  • Provide regular insights and suggestions to improve field strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • 2 years experience in fintech, payments, or merchant/agent services sales.
  • Proven ability to execute merchant acquisition and field sales strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Experience in managing field teams and working with targets.
  • Deep knowledge of local market dynamics and payment behavior.
  • Preferred Attributes:
  • Tech-savvy with ability to use CRM or sales reporting tools.
  • Highly organized, target-focused, and self-motivated.

Salary

N110,000 - N130,000 Monthly.
