Kojo Auto Service Centre Limited is an automotive service organization providing vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, mechanical repairs electrical repairs, AC overhaul, body and painting, tyre services, car wash, spare parts sales, and customer support services.

Job Summary

• We are looking for a competent, detail-oriented, and experienced Accountant to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial reports.
• Prepare and analyze:
• Statement of Profit or Loss
• Statement of Financial Position
• Cash Flow Statement
• Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare and file monthly VAT returns and ensure compliance with all statutory tax obligations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records using QuickBooks and other accounting software.
• Prepare annual budgets and support management in financial planning and forecasting.
• Liaise with external auditors and prepare all necessary schedules and documentation for audit exercises.
• Manage accounts receivable and interface with customers to ensure prompt debt collection.
• Manage accounts payable and maintain good working relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and applicable accounting standards.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support management decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in an accounting role.
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or ATS) will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of payroll administration, VAT filing, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Experience working with external auditors.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of integrity.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
