CorpeRate FAQs

Who can use CorpeRate?

CorpeRate is a professional networking platform that bridges the gap between young Nigerian professionals and Employers. So on CorpeRate, you can either sign-up as a CorpeRee or as an Employer (e.g: a company or business).

Who is a CorpeRee?

As a professional/individual, when you sign up on CorpeRate you become a CorpeRee. Becoming a CorpeRee allows you to network with other CorpeRees who are professionals like yourself, subscribe to Employers, apply to available job opportunities and bid for ContRacts.

What are ContRacts?

Individuals and organisations on CorpeRate are able to post service requests called ContRacts. A ContRact is simply an ad for a gig, freelance job or service, that once posted, instantly notifies professionals in the requested area. Professionals that are interested are then able to submit competitive bids for the posted gig/service request.

How can I access CorpeRate?

The goal is to help reduce job application rejections due to poor interview performance by providing you with the knowledge, techniques and advice required to succeed in interviews and secure the jobs you apply for. You can book your Mock Interview Session here: https://corperate.simplybook.it

What is a CorpeRate Badge?

A CorpeRate Badge is the icon beside an account name that shows that the account has been verified. For a verified CorpeRee, the CorpeRate Badge means you’ve verified your NYSC status which is confirmed via the NYSC itself. And for our Employers this means your organisation has been verified as a registered entity, whether as a company, NGO, business name etc.

How can I get verified on Corperate?

Getting Verified is super easy on our app. Just head to your settings and click “Verification”, fill in your details, click submit and you’re all set. It might take up to 3 days to approve your verification but once you’re verified you’ll get a CorpeRate Badge on your profile so Employers know you’ve served.

Who can get verified on Corperate?

We encourage all organisations that have signed-up as Employers to get verified after creating their CorpeRate profile. This is to ensure safety of all users, as only verified Employers can post jobs or events. For CorpeRees, at the moment, verification is only available to corpers who’ve served in the NYSC between 2010 and now.

Do I have to pay to be Verified?

Verifying your account on CorpeRate costs N5,000. This is because all certificate verifications are processed via the NYSC directly, to ensure authenticity, which attracts a fee.

Is the verification fee a one-time payment?

Yes the verification payment is a one-time payment and your status will be confirmed on CorpeRate for as long as you have an account with us. However, this fee is non-refundable including but not limited to where the verification is restricted or denied due to breach of our Terms.

How do I contact the CorpeRate Team?

You can reach us on any of our social media handles, @CorpeRate_Ng on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook and you could also email us at support@corperate.ng.

I don’t receive notifications, what can I do?

To receive notifications from CorpeRate make sure you’ve granted our app permission to send you notifications which can be done in your device settings.

How does a CorpeRee join my Core Network/Whole Network?

When you network with another CorpeRee, you both automatically join each other’s Whole Network. Should a CorpeRee you networked with then decide to network with you in return, you both join each other’s Core Network. Employers you subscribe to are only shown in your Whole Network.
