Summary

  • We are seeking a professional with solid accounting skills and expertise in tax filing to join our team.
  • As an Accountant, you will assist in managing the company's financial operations, including bookkeeping, tax filing and payments, and audit reconciliation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Record transactions based on bank statements and reconcile bank deposit balances
  • Submit monthly and annual tax filings on time, including personal income tax, value-added tax, withholding tax, corporate income tax, and other statutory tax types
  • Organize and archive monthly expense invoices, tax filing documents, and payment receipts
  • Assist the Finance Manager in implementing and promoting financial management processes through the company's financial management system, including approving external payments and employee reimbursement processes
  • Coordinate with auditors on the annual audit report to ensure the smooth completion of the annual corporate income tax filing
  • Monitor industry tax policies and provide professional insights to the Finance Manager
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax regulations and laws.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, ICAN) preferred
  • Familiarity with accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial guidelines
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.


We Offer

  • Pre-tax Salary: N180,000 - N230,000 (including base salary, performance bonus, seniority allowance, and transportation subsidy).
