Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, monitoring transactions, and ensuring accurate and timely financial operations.
• The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounting documentation.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, budgets, and periodic financial summaries.
• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and other financial documents.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow and assist with financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Assist with audits and provide required financial documentation.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Provide management with accurate financial information to support decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
• Professional accounting certification such as ICAN/ACCA will be an added advantage.

Salary

N150,000 - N200,000 per month.
