Overview

• This job is a blend of accounting, administrative and general services functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep/track records of all financial transactions - including account receivables and account payables.
• Reconcile bank transfers (inflows/outflows) with internal accounting records/receipt books.
• Facilitate/drive the preparation of periodic operational budgets & implementation.
• Process invoices/bills for purchases/services rendered for approval & payments.
• Manage school fees billing system, track payments, reconciliations and prepare periodic payment status reports.
• Monitor income/expenditure in line with the budget and produce monthly financial reports.
• Provide general administrative support in accordance with Management instructions.
• Ensure good functionality of various office equipment/facilities & ensure preventive maintenance.
• Perform all other duties that may be assigned to you by Management from time to time.

Requirements

• BSc / HND in Accounting / Business Administration.
• Minimum of 2 years of post graduation accounting experience.
• Previous work experience in a reputable school will be an added advantage.
• Strong attention to details and good analytical skill.
• Excellent IT capability, with advanced MS Excel skill.
• A strong business orientation.
• Excellent communication.
