We are currently seeking a dynamic, organized, and tech-savvy School Administrative Officer to join our dedicated team and help drive our daily administrative and operational workflows.
The School Administrative Officer will serve as the central hub of our school's daily operations. The ideal candidate will manage front-office communications, maintain accurate student and staff databases, support school events, and ensure our administrative processes run seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Front Office Management: Act as the first point of contact for the school, warmly greeting visitors, handling phone calls, and managing official correspondence with parents, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Records & Database Management: Maintain up-to-date student admission records, attendance logs, and academic documentation using our digital school management systems.
- Operational Support: Coordinate staff schedules, track leave requests, manage office supply inventories, and assist with the onboarding of new personnel.
- Event & Calendar Coordination: Assist in planning school events, parent-teacher meetings, examinations, and extracurricular activities, including drafting memos and circulating notices.
- Financial & Compliance Support: Collaborate with the accounts department to track fee payment records, issue receipts, and ensure compliance with internal administrative policies.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education Management, Secretarial Studies, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within a school environment.
- Tech Savviness: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and modern school management software or digital databases.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, polite, and welcoming demeanor.
- Organization & Detail: Exceptional multitasking abilities, high attention to detail, and the capacity to manage a busy school office efficiently.
- Discretion & Integrity: Ability to handle confidential student, staff, and institutional information with strict professionalism.
