Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Audit Assistant to support the Internal Audit team in monitoring financial and operational activities across the supermarket.
• The successful candidate will assist with reviewing transactions, checking stock records, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring that company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical stock counts and reconcile stock balances with system records.
• Review sales transactions, receipts, returns, discounts, and other relevant records for accuracy.
• Identify and report discrepancies in cash, stock, sales, and inventory records.
• Assist in monitoring cash handling and reconciliation processes.
• Verify invoices, purchase records, expenses, and supporting documentation.
• Check compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Assist in investigating unusual transactions, losses, shortages, and other irregularities.

Salary

N100,000 - N150,000 / month.
