Job Description

• They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Audit Officer to join their team in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) distribution sector.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular audits, ensuring compliance with company policies, monitoring internal controls, and safeguarding the organization’s assets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic audits of inventory, sales, distribution, and financial records.
• Verify stock movement across warehouses, depots, and distribution channels.
• Monitor adherence to internal control systems and recommend improvements.
• Identify discrepancies, variances, and potential risks in financial and operational records.
• Prepare and submit timely audit reports with actionable recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with finance, warehouse, and operations teams to improve accountability.
• Support management in implementing corrective measures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional certification is an added advantage
• Minimum of 2–4 years audit experience, preferably within FMCG or distribution.
• Strong knowledge of audit principles, risk management, and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical, investigative, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and audit/ERP software.
• High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.

Salary

N150,000 - N200,000 Monthly.
