Description

  • We are looking to hire a Billing Support Engineer to support the management, optimization, and integrity of our billing systems and platforms.
  • This role is ideal for a technically strong professional with experience in telecom/ISP billing systems, BSS environments, and service provisioning workflows.


Role Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day operations of VDT’s Billing/BSS platforms and related infrastructure.
  • Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot billing logs, transaction records, and system events.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, invoice disputes, and revenue-related issues.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system upgrades, and go-live activities for billing implementations.
  • Assist in the integration of third-party applications, network elements, and service provisioning systems into the billing platform.
  • Generate and automate operational, financial, and performance reports for Finance, Sales, Customer Care, and Technical teams.
  • Provide technical support for data plan configuration, product setup, and billing policies.
  • Maintain proper technical documentation, processes, and system records.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience supporting Billing / BSS platforms within a telecommunications or ISP environment.
  • Strong knowledge of billing architectures, service provisioning workflows, and revenue assurance processes.
  • Experience analyzing transaction logs, system reports, and database records.
  • SQL/database knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, MCSE, or similar are a plus.
