Zeus Microfinance Bank is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria to carry on the business of providing financial services such as savings and deposits, loans, domestic funds transfer and non-financial services to microfinance clients in Abuja and environs.



Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to all branch staff.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate employees to ensure optimal productivity and high-quality service delivery.
  • Evaluate staff performance and recommend training or corrective actions as needed.
  • Drive branch sales goals through effective marketing and relationship-building strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and cross-sell bank products and services (loans, savings, digital channels).
  • Must be abreast with the modern trends in the banking industry and be generally innovative.
  • Oversee the daily banking operations including customer service, cash management, loan processing, and back-office functions.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit recommendations.
  • Monitor all loan applications, disbursements, repayments, and portfolio quality.
  • Prepare and manage the branch budget and financial targets.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), income statements, and risk metrics.
  • Control operating expenses while maximizing revenue generation.
  • Ensure effective internal control systems are maintained within the branch.
  • Proactively manage credit risk, operational risk, and reputational risk.
  • Conduct regular reviews to minimize incidences of fraud or error.
  • Prepare timely and accurate reports for senior management on branch performance, issues, and prospects.
  • Communicate policies and organizational updates to branch staff.
  • Represent the branch in community or stakeholder engagements when necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of microfinance operations, products, and credit analysis.
  • Proven leadership and people management capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance guidelines (e.g., CBN, NDIC).
  • Competency in Microsoft Office and banking software (e.g., Core Banking Systems like Bank One, Finacle, FLEXCUBE etc.).
