HR Aid Consults - Our client, a leading provider of fluid control solutions to the oil and gas industry, is  recruiting to fill the position below:


Job Summary

  • Our client is currently seeking, driven and technically grounded Business Development Executives to join their growing commercial team in Lagos.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Identifying and developing new business leads and client relationships within the oil and gas sector across Lagos and assigned territories.
  • Supporting the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, tenders, and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Conducting market research to identify industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
  • Maintaining and updating the client database, tracking leads, follow-ups, and pipeline progress.
  • Liaising with internal technical teams to ensure client requirements are accurately understood and communicated.
  • Representing our client at industry events, client meetings, and networking forums.
  • Supporting contract negotiations and following through on sales cycles from prospecting to close.
  • Preparing and submitting regular reports on business development activities and market intelligence.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to support retention and identify upselling opportunities.


What We Are Looking For

  • B.Sc / B.Eng or equivalent in a STEM-related field (Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or related discipline).
  • 0 – 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a client-facing role; exposure to oil and gas or industrial services is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of or keen interest in the oil and gas industry, fluid control systems, or related technical services.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel within Lagos and other locations as required.
