Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Executive to drive business growth across our Power Solutions division.
  • The successful candidate will identify, develop, and secure opportunities in power and energy solutions, including captive power, mini-grid, renewable energy and hybrid solutions for commercial, industrial, and institutional clients.
  • The role also supports business development activities within our Oil & Gas services portfolio, leveraging relationships and opportunities within the broader energy sector.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for power solutions, including solar, hybrid systems, captive power plants, mini-grids, and energy infrastructure projects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with commercial, industrial, government, and institutional clients.
  • Generate and qualify leads, conduct client meetings, and develop strategic account plans.
  • Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, bids, tenders, and presentations.
  • Work closely with engineering and project teams to develop client-focused energy solutions.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities in the energy sector.
  • Support contract negotiations and commercial discussions with clients and partners.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and provide regular business development reports.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in business development, technical sales, or commercial roles within the power, energy, engineering, or oil & gas sectors.
  • Understanding of power generation, solar energy systems, mini-grid solutions, energy efficiency, or related energy technologies.
  • Strong networking, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to identify client needs and develop commercially viable solutions.
  • Experience with tendering, proposal development, and client relationship management is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to achieve business growth targets.

Preferred Experience:

  • Solar and hybrid power solutions.
  • Commercial and industrial (C&I) energy projects.
  • Mini-grid and distributed energy projects.
  • Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) or embedded power solutions.
  • Oil & gas industry business development.
