Job Title: Business Development & Product Liaison Executive (Insurance)

Core Function

• We are seeking a motivated and strategically minded professional to serve as a key interface between our insurance company and Nigerian insurers.
• This role will focus on identifying local market opportunities and product challenges, coordinating with internal technical teams, supporting regulatory submissions, and promoting innovative reinsurance-backed insurance products.
• This position plays a pivotal role in expanding the firm’s product advisory visibility, improving technical engagement with insurers, and supporting market-facing innovation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a key liaison to local insurance companies on product-related inquiries.
• Identify opportunities for new product introduction or provide support to insurers navigating technical product challenges.
• Represent the company in discussions with underwriting or technical teams to gather feedback on emerging insurance needs and coverage gaps.
• Collaborate with internal leadership to review or enhance product concepts, policy wordings, and technical proposals.
• Support the regulatory approval process for new products and manage NAICOM interactions as required.
• Participate in NAICOM technical sessions or stakeholder consultations.
• Conduct product introduction sessions and workshops to educate insurers and partners on new offerings.
• Provide regular reports on market insights, client feedback, and evolving industry trends.
• Monitor competitor activities and identify gaps in product offerings across the insurance landscape.
• Maintain discretion and professionalism when handling internal information and client communications.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• CIIN certification is recommended.

Experience Requirements:

• 3–5 years in a business development, product liaison, or client engagement role within the insurance or reinsurance industry.
• Experience with regulatory processes, especially NAICOM product filings, is an advantage.
• Prior experience acting as a bridge between technical teams and client-facing teams is desirable.

Certifications (Preferred):

• ARe (Associate in Reinsurance), or ACII modules focused on product development.
• Additional training in NAICOM product filing or insurance innovation is a plus.

Salary

N400,000 - N500,000 Monthly.
