Job summary


This role combines clinical nutrition expertise, healthcare education, and strong sales ability to expand our presence in the healthcare sector. The manager will actively promote and sell our products to hospitals, pharmacies, and medical professionals while positioning the brand as a trusted provider of evidence-based nutrition solutions.

Responsibilities:

Healthcare Partnership Development:

  • Build strategic partnerships with hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and healthcare institutions.
  • Identify key decision makers, including dietitians, doctors, pharmacists, and procurement managers.
  • Position Shroom products as trusted clinical and functional nutrition solutions.


Institutional Sales & Business Development:

  • Actively drive sales of Shroom products to hospitals, pharmacies, and healthcare distributors.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of institutional clients and healthcare accounts.
  • Negotiate supply agreements and long-term purchase arrangements with healthcare institutions.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for the healthcare channel.


Clinical Product Education:

  • Educate healthcare professionals on the nutritional benefits and clinical applications of Shroom products.
  • Conduct nutrition seminars, product demonstrations, and training sessions for healthcare staff.
  • Translate nutrition science into practical recommendations for patient wellness and dietary support.


Relationship Management:

  • Maintain strong relationships with dietitians, nutritionists, pharmacists, and healthcare administrators.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between healthcare partners and the Shroom team.
  • Follow up consistently with healthcare partners to ensure continued product adoption and sales growth.


Market Intelligence:

  • Monitor trends in clinical nutrition, functional foods, and medical nutrition therapy.
  • Identify opportunities for our products in patient nutrition programs and healthcare wellness initiatives.
  • Track competitor products and provide insights to support sales strategy.


Collaboration with Internal Teams:

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and product development teams.
  • Provide feedback from healthcare professionals to guide product improvements and new product development.
  • Support the development of clinical marketing materials and healthcare education content.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Monthly and quarterly sales revenue from hospitals and pharmacies
  • Number of new hospital and pharmacy accounts opened
  • Number of active healthcare partnerships


Growth in institutional product orders:

  • Number of healthcare professional engagements and product trainings
  • Product adoption in clinical nutrition programs


Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Food Science, or related health sciences
  • Registered Dietitian or professional nutrition certification preferred.


Experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience in healthcare sales, clinical nutrition, pharmaceutical sales, or medical nutrition products.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Experience selling to hospitals, pharmacies, or healthcare institutions is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of clinical nutrition principles and dietary interventions.
  • Knowledge of functional foods, nutraceuticals, and wellness products.
  • Familiarity with hospital procurement and pharmacy distribution systems.
  • Strong sales and negotiation ability
