The Consumer Lending Executive is designed to identify and develop high-potential graduates interested in building a career in retail banking, credit sales, and consumer finance. Participants will receive hands-on training across consumer lending products, customer acquisition, credit assessment, loan processing, and portfolio management.
Successful candidates will gain practical experience while supporting the growth of the organization’s consumer loan portfolio in compliance with regulatory and risk guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Support customer acquisition for consumer loan products (salary loans, personal loans, asset finance, digital loans, etc.)
- Assist in onboarding new customers and collecting required documentation
- Conduct basic credit analysis and KYC verification under supervision
- Support loan processing, disbursement, and repayment monitoring
- Educate customers on loan products, pricing, and repayment terms
- Follow up on loan repayments and support early-stage recovery efforts
- Maintain accurate customer and loan records
- Collaborate with sales, risk, operations, and customer service teams
- Participate in classroom training, field assignments, and performance assessments
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Eligibility & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Banking & Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing, or related disciplines
- 0 years post-graduation experience
- NYSC completed or exempted
- Strong interest in banking, consumer lending, and financial services
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of sales, customer service, or finance (an advantage)
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a target-driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
