Job Title: Electrical Engineer (Renewable Energy)

Location: Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Reports To: Head of Engineering / Technical Manager

Job Summary

• The Electrical Engineer (Renewable Energy) will be responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and optimization of renewable energy systems, particularly solar PV solutions.
• The role involves technical project execution, system troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• COREN certification will be a strong advantage, reflecting a high level of professionalism and technical competence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement renewable energy systems, especially solar power projects.
• Conduct site assessments, load calculations, and feasibility studies for energy solutions.
• Supervise installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical/renewable systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory guidelines, and company policies.
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, and system documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for renewable energy systems.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability.
• Stay updated with renewable energy technologies and emerging industry trends.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in renewable energy projects (solar PV, wind, or hybrid systems).
• Proficiency in design tools (AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, energy storage, and grid integration.
• COREN certification (preferred; will be a strong advantage).
• Familiarity with Nigerian electricity standards and renewable energy policies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Salary

N300,000 Monthly.
