We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Engineering Manager - Service Implementation

Location: Nigeria 

Job Type: Full-time (8 hrs/day) with 4 hrs PST overlap

Engagement: Full-time contractor (6 months)

Role Expectations

• Lead design & development of production-ready APIs
• Provide technical direction & mentorship while being hands-on in the codebase
• Drive architectural decisions and enforce engineering best practices
• Ensure high-quality test coverage with TDD
• Contribute to planning, program management, and process improvements.

Key Skills & Requirements

• Experience: 8+ years in Backend Engineering, with at least 4+ years in technical leadership
• Deep expertise in production-grade Python and backend architecture
• Strong background in database schema design & data modeling
• Proven ability to lead and guide teams in building scalable backend systems
• Hands-on experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Bonus: Familiarity with LLM function calling protocols.
