Position Summary

The Event Coordinator will oversee the operational execution of the summit, ensuring all elements run smoothly from setup to teardown. This pivotal role requires meticulous organization, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering a high-impact experience that highlights ethical global recruitment and cross-border partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-event preparations, including partner agency booth setups from and attendee registration
• Supervise session transitions, such as from the opening ceremony at exhibitions and networking panel discussions and workshops
• Liaise with vendors, speakers, and staff to resolve logistical issues, including audiovisual setup, booth equipment (tables, chairs, power sources), and contingency planning for any disruptions.
• Track attendee engagement metrics and provide on-site reporting to event leads, ensuring alignment with the summit's goals of facilitating 20 job opportunities.
• Conduct post-event debriefs and oversee cleanup to maintain venue standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience (minimum 2 years in event coordination).
• Strong project management skills, including proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or event software (e.g., Eventbrite).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with up to 250 participants.
• Full availability on November 3, 2025, with flexibility for pre- and post-event support.
