Job Title: Event Manager

Job Summary
- The Event Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events from concept to completion.
- This includes corporate events, conferences, product launches, weddings, exhibitions, and promotional campaigns.
- The role involves overseeing budgets, liaising with clients and vendors, managing event staff, and ensuring a seamless experience for all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute a wide range of events, from small meetings to large-scale corporate functions.
- Work closely with clients to understand their objectives, needs, and budget.
- Develop event proposals, timelines, and detailed project plans.
- Source and negotiate with vendors (caterers, decorators, entertainers, AV, etc.).
- Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, permits, transportation, and accommodation if needed.
- Manage on-site event operations, including staff supervision, setup, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure all events are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Monitor event progress and make real-time decisions to ensure success.
- Prepare post-event reports including feedback, performance metrics, and lessons learned.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and suggest creative ideas to enhance events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- 5-8 years of proven experience in event planning or coordination.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Office and event management software (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent, Monday.com).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
