The Centre for Electoral Awareness CEA is a non-partisan NGO dedicated to deepening the roots of democracy in Nigeria. Our motto: Promoting Civic Life. The CEA through its national civic engagement platform - CEAFORUM will coordinate social processes bordering on Public Accountability, Campaigns and Community Service to inform, enlighten, empower, and improve the livelihood of Nigerians. 

The CEA is pioneering a digital hub (CeaForum) designed to foster civic engagement and drive transformative change in Nigeria. This innovative platform converges three core areas: Public Accountability: Promoting transparency and answerability in governance, Community Service: Empowering citizens to contribute to community development and as well enhance human capital development through various empowerment programs, Campaigns: Mobilizing collective action to achieve a change for a more just, equitable, and prosperous Nigeria.

Board Responsibilities

As a member of CEA's Board of Directors, you will:

  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight
  • Ensure effective governance, management and stability.
  • Support resource mobilization and financial sustainability
  • Foster partnerships and collaborations.

Ideal Candidates

We're seeking prominent Nigerians with:

  • Proven expertise in governance, law, management or civil society
  • Strong leadership and board experience
  • Commitment to democracy, civic engagement and human capital development.
  • Excellent track record of resource mobilization
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
