Job Title: Facility Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

• Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, safety, security and aesthetics of all properties, managing staff, contractors and regulatory relationships, while collecting facility fees, controlling costs, reporting to managementand driving profitability and growth.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure that cleaning and maintenance tasks assigned to team members or third parties are done properly
• Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor recreation spaces
• Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, signages, buildingsecurity
• Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed
• Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors
• Review utilities consumption and strive tominimize costs
• Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionals
• Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders/requisitions
• Creating reports / check-list on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff
• Produce detailed reports on all activities, including operations, administration and financial to management on a weekly basis
• Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions
• Collaborating with management on budgeting for facilities needs
• Ensure Occupants pay the facility fees on time
• Liaise with the office or sales team for sales and leasing of available properties
• Manage an up to date inventory of properties with owners and or occupants current details
• Proper documentation of all matters relating to each property including maintenance history
• Ensure the general aesthetics of the properties are maintained in line with company standards
• Liaise with regulatory authorities like AEDC, etc
• Manage all staff and or third party contractors to ensure productivity and efficiency
• Ensure the facility management company is profitable
• Carry out analysis and forecasting on facilities
• Come up with growth and expansion strategy from time to time and follow through agreed plans to a logical conclusion.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess an HND or Bachelor's Degree with 4-5 years experience.

Salary

N150,000 - N200,000 / Month.
