The Facility Supervisor oversees the planning, coordination, and maintenance of the organization’s physical assets and infrastructure. The role ensures safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations of facilities, manages vendors and service providers, and implements policies to support a productive and compliant workplace environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Prepare and maintain accurate facility management reports (maintenance logs, incident reports, cost analysis, etc.)
  •  Develop and present monthly/quarterly facility performance reports to management.  
  • Perform minor mechanical or electrical repairs, including basic troubleshooting of equipment and systems.
  • Monitor the performance of generators, HVAC systems, plumbing, lighting, and electrical panels.
  • Supervise facility technicians and ensure all tasks are completed correctly and on schedule.
  • Coordinate major repairs with external vendors and monitor the quality of their work.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service reports, and inventory records.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, facility policies, and industry standards.
  • Respond quickly to emergency maintenance issues and provide practical solutions.
  • Track utility usage and recommend cost-effective improvements.
  • Ensure all studios and rooms are clean, organized, and fully prepared prior to each class.
  • Set up equipment such as mats, weights, bikes, steps, audio systems, and special class props according to class requirements.
  • Coordinate with instructors to confirm room layouts, temperature settings, and audio/visual needs.
  • Work with external vendors for cleaning, maintenance, repairs, and equipment servicing.
  • Oversee performance of janitorial teams, ensuring high standards of cleanliness.
  • Reset rooms promptly between sessions and ensure quick turnaround for back-to-back classes.
  • Ensure all facility areas remain clean, functional, and hazard-free.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • HND/BSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5 years of hands-on experience in facility maintenance or engineering operations.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to perform minor repairs and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Experience supervising technicians or craft workers is an advantage.
