Salary Range: ₦120,000 – ₦150,000 monthly (exclusive of commission and performance bonuses)
Job Summary
The Field Marketer will play a critical role in expanding the presence and sales of AAZIK Lubricants across Lagos. Working directly under the supervision of the Lubricant Manager, the Field Marketer will be responsible for building, training, and supervising a freelance marketing force to drive sales penetration into all parts of Lagos.
This position requires a dynamic, target-driven professional with excellent interpersonal skills, strong knowledge of Lagos’ market dynamics, and proven ability to mobilize and manage teams. The role blends hands-on field engagement, sales execution, and grassroots marketing leadership, making it central to AAZIK’s ambition of becoming a household name in the lubricant industry.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development & Sales Growth
- Drive the adoption and sales of AAZIK Lubricants across Lagos markets, including retail shops, transport hubs, mechanic workshops, filling stations, and distribution outlets.
- Secure new distributors, retailers, and bulk buyers to expand AAZIK’s footprint across Lagos.
- Achieve a minimum monthly sales target of 50 cartons of 5 liters AAZIK Lubricant (any variant), in collaboration with the freelance marketing team.
- Conduct activations, product demonstrations, and grassroots campaigns to boost visibility and awareness.
Team Building & Leadership
- Support the Lubricant Manager in recruiting, training, and supervising freelance marketers across strategic zones in Lagos.
- Motivate and guide the freelance team to meet their sales targets.
- Develop structured territory coverage plans to ensure AAZIK Lubricants is represented across all local government areas in Lagos.
- Ensure compliance with AAZIK’s sales reporting and performance standards.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Conduct field research, competitor tracking, and customer feedback collection to guide business decisions.
- Provide weekly reports on sales numbers, market expansion efforts, and freelance team performance.
- Recommend strategies to improve sales penetration and brand dominance in Lagos.
Brand Representation & Customer Engagement
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring AAZIK is positively represented in all interactions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers, mechanics, transporters, and distributors.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism.
Qualifications & Requirements
- OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years proven experience in sales, field marketing, or distribution (oil & gas/lubricants sector experience is an advantage).
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of Lagos markets and willingness to travel widely within Lagos.
- Ability to mobilize and manage freelance teams effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and target-focused.
Compensation & Benefits
- Monthly Salary: Open to negotiation.
- Commission: 5% monthly commission on sales upon achieving the minimum sales target of 50 cartons of 5 liters AAZIK Lubricant (any variant).
