Advantage Health Africa is the umbrella for these various initiatives and venture, established in January, 2017 and began full operations in July of the same year. AHA was born out a desire to see significant performance improvement in the healthcare industry, particularly in business improvement and patient care treatment outcomes. 


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in recording daily financial transactions and maintaining accurate ledgers.
  • Support the preparation of payment vouchers, invoices, and receipts.
  • Perform bank and cash reconciliations.
  • Assist with expense verification and petty cash management.
  • Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
  • Help track budget utilization and highlight variances.
  • Maintain proper filing of financial documents (soft and hard copies).
  • Assist with audit preparation and documentation.
  • Conduct simple financial analysis and provide data support for management decisions.
  • Perform other finance and administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Good communication and organizational skills
