Job Title: General Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic General Manager (GM) to oversee the operations of a leading smart card manufacturing company.
The GM will ensure efficiency in production, quality control, customer satisfaction, and business growth.
This role requires a proven leader with financial expertise, people management skills, and strong business development capability.
The GM will partner with the Managing Director to shape business strategy, organizational development, and compliance, while driving sales growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead overall business operations including production, quality assurance, and distribution.
Develop and execute strategic and operational plans to drive profitability and growth.
Oversee financial performance, reporting, and compliance in collaboration with Finance.
Drive sales strategies, build client relationships, and expand market presence.
Provide strong people leadership — coaching, mentoring, and structuring teams for success.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ISO quality standards.
Represent the company at key industry, banking, and stakeholder events.
Drive innovation and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Production Management, Finance, or related fields
Professional Accounting Qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) required.
Minimum of 15 years progressive leadership experience in large-scale manufacturing/printing, including at least 5 years in a senior management role.
Proven track record of people leadership and organizational restructuring.
Strong background in sales and business development.
Demonstrated expertise in financial and operational management.
Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.

Desired Profile:

A seasoned leader with mature professional judgment (typically gained over 20+ years of management experience).
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance operations, finance, and growth.
Customer-focused, innovative, and results-driven.

Salary Range

N2,000,000 - N3,000,000 Net Per Month (depending on experience).
