• Develop and execute the IT strategy in line with the organisation’s corporate strategy
• Oversee the design, installation, testing and maintenance of software programs
• Research, design, test, and evaluate new technologies, platforms, and third-party products
• Develop and implement business continuity and disaster recovery plans
• Acquire and maintain IT infrastructure
• Design and implement efficient IT systems to meet business and technology needs
• Coordinate with developers and vendors to build and implement technology solutions
• Integrate multiple systems and reconcile needs of different teams on different IT platforms
• Supervise the gathering of feedback from end users about system performance, and ensure close out of identified gaps
• Plan and oversee projects (e.g., upgrades, hardware/software installations)
• Provide technical training for new and existing staff on areas of usage of technology
• Keep abreast of technology trends and developments
• Ensure optimal uptime on all IT platforms throughout company branch network
• Design, develop, implement, and coordinate IT systems, policies, and procedures
• Preserve assets, information security and control structures
• Manage annual IT budget and ensure cost effectiveness
• Audit systems and assess IT programs, IT projects, technical architecture, controls and operating models to uncover risks, and implement appropriate mitigations
• Manage IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance
