We are currently seeking experienced female home tutors for two children aged 12 and 10 for an intensive homeschooling program running from June 15th to August 21st, 2026.

Both children are either in middle school or transitioning into middle school, therefore only tutors with strong secondary school teaching experience will be considered.

Preference will be given to teachers currently teaching or who have previously taught in an international or American curriculum school.

LOCATION: Apo Axis, Abuja

SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday

Mathematics/Science Tutor:

• 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM daily
• (30-minute break included)

English Tutor:

• 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM daily
• (30-minute break included)

SALARY: ₦100,000 per month per teacher

REQUIREMENTS

Mathematics/Science Tutor:

• B.Sc. in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or related field
• Strong mathematical foundation is compulsory
• Must be familiar with the American curriculum
• Must have experience teaching secondary/middle school students

English Tutor:

• B.Sc. in English, Literature, Linguistics, Communication, or related field
• Must be familiar with the American curriculum
• Must have experience teaching secondary/middle school students

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR BOTH POSITIONS:

• Female applicants only
• Must reside in Abuja, preferably around Apo axis, or be willing to commute daily
• Must have verifiable teaching experience and references
• Must be patient, emotionally intelligent, and skilled in working with children with different learning styles
• Ability to help improve focus, comprehension, confidence, reading culture, and academic discipline
• Must understand how to support:
• a child who requires extra academic support and encouragement
• a child who understands quickly but tends to rush work and make avoidable mistakes
• Ability to create engaging, structured, and productive learning sessions
• Strong communication and progress-reporting skills are important
