Job Description

• We are seeking a qualified and experienced HSE Advisor to join our Nigeria operations.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and industry standards.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Facilitate toolbox talks, safety meetings, and HSE training sessions.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
• Ensure compliance with permit-to-work (PTW) systems and safe work practices.
• Monitor emergency preparedness and participate in emergency response drills.
• Advise management and workforce on HSE matters and promote continuous improvement.
• Maintain HSE documentation and prepare periodic reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline.
• 3–5 years of offshore HSE experience in the oil & gas or marine industry.
• NEBOSH IGC (mandatory); additional HSE certifications are an advantage.
• Good knowledge of international HSE standards and offshore safety regulations.
• Experience with PTW systems, risk assessments, incident investigations, and emergency response.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
