Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in the factory
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards
  • Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and industry standards
  • Organize safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for staff
  • Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses and prepare detailed reports
  • Recommend corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence of incidents
  • Monitor use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure compliance
  • Maintain HSE records, documentation, and reports for audits and inspections
  • Coordinate emergency response procedures, including fire drills and evacuation plans
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies and external auditors when required
  • Promote a strong safety culture across all departments in the factory


Requirements / Qualifications

  • BSc / HND in Environmental Science, Safety Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in HSE role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Professional certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is an added advantage
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
  • Good communication, reporting, and training skills
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments and incident investigations
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
