Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos for a  Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer in the Construction Industry.
• The HSE Officer will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and implementing workplace safety measures.
• Daily tasks include guiding construction teams on safe practices, conducting training sessions, inspecting sites for  health and safety compliance, and preparing reports to address any occupational health and safety concerns.

Qualifications

• Experience in the construction industry or similar high-risk environments is preferred
• Relevant certification(s) in Health, Safety, and Environment or similar field
• Proficiency in Health & Safety practices and Workplace Safety standards
• Thorough knowledge of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and policies
• Expertise in Occupational Health and NEBOSH certification is an advantage
• Strong communication skills for effective training and reporting
• Ability to analyze risks, develop preventive measures, and handle safety management systems.
