Zitelle Group is seeking a qualified and experienced In-House Legal Counsel to join our team in Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support on business and operational matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
• Advise the organisation on Nigerian Labour Law and employment-related matters.
• Identify and manage potential legal risks.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Conduct legal research and provide practical legal guidance to management.
• Liaise with external legal advisers and relevant stakeholders when required.

Requirements

• LL.B degree and Call to the Nigerian Bar (BL).
• Minimum of 4 years’ relevant professional experience, preferably in an in-house legal counsel capacity.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Law.
• Proven experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
• Excellent communication, analytical, research, and negotiation skills.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
