Job Description

•  We are seeking an experienced Design / Estimator Director to lead our team, driving the creation of high-quality, functional, and cost-effective furniture solutions that delight our clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the Vision: Oversee the entire design and estimation process, from initial concept to final production.
• Innovate & Create: Translate client briefs into creative, practical, and stunning furniture designs.
• Ensure Accuracy: Prepare precise cost estimates, quotations, and bills of quantities for all projects.
• Collaborate: Partner with production, procurement, and sales teams to ensure designs are feasible and align with budgets.
• Maintain Standards: Approve final drawings, materials, and finishes, ensuring they meet our high-quality standards and industry regulations.
• Stay Ahead: Keep the team updated on the latest design trends, materials, and production techniques.
• Mentor & Manage: Lead, train, and inspire a team of talented designers and estimators.

Job Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in furniture design and/or cost estimation, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Deep expertise in furniture manufacturing processes, materials, and finishes.
• Proficiency with design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D Max, and experience with estimation tools.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• A proven ability to balance creative vision with cost efficiency.
