Job Title: Internal Auditor 

Location: Abuja (FCT) 

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Internal Auditor with 5 - 7 years of relevant experience to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, internal controls, and governance processes within the organization.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, identifying operational risks, and recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits across financial, operational, and compliance areas.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Identify risks, control gaps, and areas for operational improvement.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and actionable recommendations.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
• Review financial records, transactions, and operational processes for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in fraud investigations and risk assessments where necessary.
• Collaborate with department heads to strengthen internal control systems.
• Support external auditors during annual audit exercises.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
• 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in internal audit, risk management, or compliance.
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, or ICAN is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of audit procedures, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/audit software.
• Strong communication and report-writing abilities.

Salary

N700,000 - N1,000,000 monthly.
