• We are expanding our operations and seeking a highly skilled technician to oversee camera installations, VMS setup, and ensure smooth operation of our monitoring stations.

Job Description

We’re hiring a Video Surveillance & VMS Technician who will be responsible for:

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining CCTV/IP cameras and related security hardware
• Setting up and managing Hikvision’s HikCentral VMS software and other related platforms
• Conducting on-site and remote diagnostics, repairs, and system tests
• Working with the monitoring team to ensure camera feeds and alerts function seamlessly
• Training clients or team members on system operations when required
• Travelling across Nigeria for project deployments and client site support
• Ensuring all installations comply with safety and operational standards
• Providing technical reports, documentation, and feedback to the operations lead.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of OND / HND / BSc Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, ICT, Computer Engineering, or related field
• At least 2 years proven experience with CCTV installation, network configuration, and IP camera systems
• Strong knowledge of VMS platforms (especially HikCentral) and NVR/DVR setups
• Ability to troubleshoot networking issues (IP addressing, port forwarding, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals
• Physically fit and able to work in field conditions
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Must reside in Abuja and be willing to travel nationwide for assignments
• Certifications in security systems or networking (CCNA, Hikvision Certified, etc.) are a plus.
