Unified Trust Network (UTN) is looking for a proactive and reliable IT Officer to join our team and take ownership of our day-to-day IT operations, systems, and technical support.

This is an opportunity to work in a growing technology company, support real business operations, and contribute to the technology behind AccessGate and other UTN initiatives.

Location: Igbo-Efon, Lekki- Epe Expy, Lagos

What You’ll Do

• Provide day-to-day IT support to employees and resolve hardware, software, and system issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, software, and other IT equipment.
• Manage user accounts, system access, devices, and IT permissions.
• Support office network, internet connectivity, printers, and other IT infrastructure.
• Assist with system maintenance, updates, backups, and security controls.
• Support testing of UTN applications and technology products, including identifying, documenting, and reporting bugs.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, systems, licenses, and technical documentation.
• Support the onboarding and offboarding of employees from an IT perspective.
• Monitor IT equipment and identify issues before they significantly affect operations.
• Assist with cybersecurity and data protection practices across the organisation.
• Work with external vendors and service providers when technical support is required.
• Support technology projects and other IT-related initiatives as assigned.

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant IT experience in a similar role.
• Must reside in Lagos State, preferably on the Island.
• Good understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, networking, and common business software.
• Experience troubleshooting Windows computers and common software issues.
• Basic understanding of network configuration, Wi-Fi, routers, printers, and internet connectivity.
• Familiarity with user account and access management.
• Good understanding of IT security and safe computing practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical issues.
• Strong attention to detail and good documentation habits.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

It’ll Be an Added Advantage If You Have

• Experience supporting SaaS or technology products.
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity.
• Experience with software testing and bug reporting.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and productivity tools.
• Experience with device and asset management.
• Basic understanding of APIs, databases, or software development workflows.
• Relevant IT certifications.
