Edo State College of Education is founded on the desire to achieve educational reforms in the State, utilizing the facilities of the pre-existing campuses in Abudu, Afuze, and Igueben. It is a reflection of the intentions, expectations, goals, standards, and requirements for quality education delivery. In line with Governor Godwin Obaseki’s desire and commitment to improve the quality of Education in Edo State, this multi-campus State College of Education System with Specialization in various fields was established.

Requirements

• Candidates must possess a good First Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University in relevant field and professional qualification plus a minimum of six (6) years relevant post-qualification teaching / research / industrial experience or Master's Degree in relevant field from a recognized institution with at least three (3) years teaching experience or a Doctorate Degree in relevant field from a recognized institution with evidence of registration with Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) and computer literacy.
• In addition, candidate should have either:
• Presented two seminar/conference papers/exhibition or
• One journal publication article accepted for publication.
