A non-profit organisation based in Igbo-Ukwu, Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra state, committed to community development, education, and youth empowerment, has commissioned us to identify suitably qualified and motivated individuals to fill the position of Librarian.


He/She is charged with the responsibility of managing the Foundation’s physical and digital library collections including acquisitions, cataloguing, classifying, maintenance of digital materials


Other Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organise library collections (books, journals, and digital resources).
  • Support literacy and community reading programmes.
  • Maintain library catalogues and assist users in information retrieval.
  • Prepare monthly activity and resource reports.


Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BLIS/MLS) in Library and Information Science or related field;
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in library or resource center management.


Required Skills:

  • Excellent cataloguing and organisational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency with library management software and MS Office tools.


Remuneration : ₦200,000.00 per month.
