Job Summary
The Sales Officer will be responsible for sourcing prospects, evaluating loan applications, and serving as a liaison between customers and the organization. The ideal candidate will help qualified applicants access loans promptly while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and generate viable prospects for loan products
- Interview applicants to assess financial eligibility and loan feasibility
- Communicate with clients to request and provide necessary information
- Prepare and complete loan documentation in line with company policies
- Counsel clients on loan terms, policies, and restrictions
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable loan products
- Build and maintain referral networks to drive business growth
- Cross-sell products and services to achieve assigned targets
- Build strong customer relationships to enhance loyalty and satisfaction
Requirements
- Minimum of HND or BSc degree (Must have completed the NYSC or Exclusion letter)
- Previous experience as a Loan Officer or Sales Executive is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of lending products and credit processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Sales-driven with a strong customer satisfaction orientation
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment
