Job Description

• We are looking to recruit Marketing Assistants to support the Marketing Manager in all marketing activities. These assistants will work directly under the supervision of the Marketing Manager.
• As a Marketing Assistant, you will assist in the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing campaigns, promotions, and retail activations. This role requires someone who is proactive, organized, and eager to learn about the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, especially in the hygiene product care space.

Responsibilities

• Assist in handling the company’s social media platforms.
• Grow social media followers weekly and meet agreed follower growth targets.
• Engage with customers online and offline, coordinate with retailers, vendors, and field teams to ensure effective execution of marketing activities.
• Collaborate with the sales team to align promotional efforts with sales goals.
• Join in market surveys and activities with the Marketing Manager.
• Follow up on marketing tasks assigned to them.
• Work with the marketing team and contribute to brainstorming and campaign ideas.
• Submit reports to the Marketing Manager weekly as required.
• Monitor competitor activity and gather feedback from field and business partners (Key distributors, wholesalers and retailers).

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an HND or B.Sc in Marketing or related field
• Must have up to 1 year working experience in same role.
• Must have worked in the FMCG Industry Preferably Diaper & Sanitary Pad companies
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Must reside within Ibeju-Lekki and it immediate environs
• The ideal candidate will be between the ages of 20 and 25 years of age.
• Ability to handle Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Youtube etc.
• Use of Canva (mandatory), Photoshop (added advantage) and Graphics Design
• Video Creation & Editing with the use of phone for social media
• Ability to write short articles for the company website, social media captions, and basic marketing texts.
