About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Marketing Manager who understands the short-term rental marketplace industry to accelerate our platform growth, increase host acquisition, and drive guest bookings.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for both supply-side (property hosts) and demand-side (guests) growth
  • Create and manage multi-channel campaigns to attract new property listings to the CSB platform
  • Drive guest acquisition through targeted digital marketing, content marketing, and performance campaigns
  • Optimize our platform presence through SEO and conversion rate optimization
  • Manage paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok) with focus on user acquisition costs and lifetime value
  • Build brand awareness and differentiate CSB from competitors like Airbnb in the marketplace
  • Develop partnerships with property management companies and individual hosts
  • Create compelling content showcasing success stories from hosts and guest testimonials
  • Implement referral programs and loyalty initiatives to drive organic growth
  • Analyze marketplace metrics including booking rates, host retention, and guest satisfaction
  • Coordinate email marketing campaigns for host onboarding, guest engagement, and reactivation
  • Monitor competitor strategies and identify market opportunities


Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of marketing experience in marketplace platforms, shortlet industry, or hospitality tech
  • Proven experience with two-sided marketplace dynamics (supply and demand)
  • Deep understanding of the short-term rental industry and competitor landscape (Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO)
  • Track record of scaling user acquisition with measurable ROI
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and marketing automation
  • Experience with growth hacking strategies and viral marketing techniques
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and optimize campaigns
  • Excellent storytelling and content creation abilities


Preferred Skills

  • Experience marketing a tech platform or SaaS product
  • Knowledge of marketplace KPIs (take rate, GMV, liquidity, engagement metrics)
  • Background in community building and host relations
  • Understanding of payment systems and trust & safety in marketplaces
  • Familiarity with property management systems integration
