Harmony 360 Health in Ibadan is seeking a competent and patient-centredMedical Officer to join our clinical team.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality medical care, with a significant focus on paediatric urgent care, under the clinical leadership of our consultant physician.

Key responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients presenting with common acute illnesses.
• Provide paediatric urgent care for conditions such as fever, respiratory infections, asthma exacerbations, gastrointestinal illnesses and dehydration.
• Recognise critically ill patients and initiate appropriate stabilisation and referral.
• Perform clinical procedures within demonstrated competence and facility capabilities.
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic investigations.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
• Communicate clearly with patients and caregivers.
• Collaborate with nursing and other clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Follow established clinical protocols and patient-safety standards.

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
• Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria and a valid practising licence.
• Completion of housemanship.
• Relevant post-housemanship clinical experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and emergency recognition skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation and teamwork skills.

Highly desirable:

• Current/Previous experience as a Paediatric Registrar or substantial experience in paediatric clinical practice.
• Experience managing common paediatric emergencies.
• Competence in paediatric resuscitation and stabilisation.
• Current paediatric registrars are strongly encouraged to apply.
