Job Title: Network Administrator

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Overview

• Our client, a reputable organization, is seeking a skilled and experienced Network Administrator to oversee the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of its computer networks and IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, switches, and routers.
• Administer email systems, CCTV, and access control infrastructure.
• Install, support, and configure network hardware and software.
• Monitor and optimize network performance and availability.
• Ensure robust network security and perform regular system upgrades.
• Maintain user accounts, permissions, and documentation.
• Respond promptly to network issues and coordinate with vendors.
• Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, and recommend system upgrades.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role.
• Strong understanding of networking hardware and protocols.
• Experience with monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds).
• Hands-on knowledge of firewall and VPN configurations.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Network+) are an added advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of VoIP systems.
• Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python).

Salary

N200,000 - N300,000 per month.
