Job Description Summary

  • GE Vernova Gas Power is pleased to offer selected graduating students the opportunity to join our business for an internship.
  • You will be exposed to our business, which provides a perfect opportunity for us to learn about you and your interests and for you to learn about GE Vernova and a career with us.
  • In this role you will utilize science, engineering, and operations knowledge and experience to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others. You will be assigned a project to drive which will support the business priorities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the GE Vernova Power Business with business optimization actions as defined by the Operations Leader
  • Manage the SSA region operations data webpage: ensuring accurate and on-time updates as well as tracking hit rate and use cases for the website
  • Collaborate with the Information Technology Manager (ITM) to consult IT knowledgebases (KB's) and resources for proper troubleshooting.
  • Develop and track dashboard on operations incident reports


Required Qualifications

  • Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of not less than 3.5 (Second Class Upper)
  • Academic excellence in Science, Engineering, IT competency
  • Verified posting by NYSC to GE and completion of the mandatory 3 weeks orientation camp.
  • Passion for technology and previous experience in the GE sales process will be an added advantage
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
  • Verified posting/call up letter to Lagos.
  • Computer proficiency
