Job Summary & Key Responsibilities

• We are seeking an experienced Personnel & HR Manager who is fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) to lead and manage our human resources functions.
• You will be the bridge between our Chinese-speaking teams and local staffs/workers, ensuring smooth communication and a positive workplace culture.
• This role involves translating/interpreting between Chinese and English, managing local employees and calculating salaries.
• We are a leading glass manufacturing company based in the Ogun Guangdong Free Trade Zone. We are seeking highly fluent Chinese-speaking professionals to join our team and oversee our local workforce.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new hires
• Act as the main point of contact for Chinese-speaking employees and candidates
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
• Handle payroll, benefits administration, and compliance with local labor laws
• Oversee performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution
• Coordinate training and professional development programs
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and company culture-building activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in an HR generalist or HR manager role
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) and English — this is essential
• Solid knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism
• Must be proficient in Microsoft office tools e.g. Excel.
