Managing the Sales Engine

  • Lead and manage the telemarketing team — set daily targets, monitor performance, and close performance gaps fast
  • Ensure every inbound lead generated by marketing campaigns is followed up promptly and converted effectively
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure fulfilment aligns with sales commitments and timelines
  • Run weekly sales reviews — track numbers, identify blockers, and hold the team accountable
  • Train and develop team members on scripts, objection handling, and brand communication standards
  • Escalate product feedback, customer objections, and market intelligence directly to the founder


NEW BUSINESS & DISTRIBUTION

Opening New Channels

  • Prospect and pitch supermarkets, pharmacies, gift shops, and lifestyle retail stores to stock our products
  • Build relationships with bakeries and food businesses for the chocolate spread and baking-grade supply
  • Identify and close wholesale and bulk purchase accounts across Lagos and other states
  • Develop and execute a retail placement strategy for the mini bar line — positioning, shelf presence, and reorder systems
  • Represent the brand at trade events, markets, and pop-ups where relevant
  • Build a reliable network of distributors and resellers to extend our geographic reach


TARGETS & REPORTING

Owning the Numbers

  • Set and own monthly sales targets across DTC, retail, wholesale, and distribution channels
  • Track revenue, conversion rates, and pipeline health — and report clearly to the founder weekly
  • Identify underperforming channels early and pivot strategy without waiting to be told
  • Forecast sales volumes to support production and inventory planning

  • Love Bite Chocolate Bars — functional aphrodisiac bars in male and female formulas, primary DTC product
  • Kiyoko Chocolate Bars, Spread — premium spread targeting retail shelves, bakeries, and food businesses
