Job Summary

• The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, expanding the company's customer base, and managing key client relationships within the energy sector.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of energy products and services, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets in industries such as renewable energy, power solutions, solar energy, or electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
• Identify new business opportunities across commercial, industrial, institutional, and government sectors.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, distributors, and strategic partners.
• Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to consistently meet and exceed performance targets.
• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with the technical, operations, and project teams to ensure seamless execution of customer projects.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure and post-sales follow-up.
• Develop accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, exhibitions, and networking events.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely support and resolving escalated client concerns.
• Monitor sales KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities using CRM software.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
• Professional certifications in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development are desirable.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive sales experience.
• At least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory sales role.
• Experience in the energy sector (renewable energy, solar, power generation, electrical solutions,or related industries) is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Salary

• N600,000 – N1,500,000 per month (depending on experience).
