Role Overview

The School Janitor plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This position requires diligence, reliability, and a sense of pride in ensuring that the school remains conducive to learning.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas daily.
Ensure proper disposal of waste and maintain a hygienic environment at all times.
Support in arranging classrooms and school facilities for daily use and special events.
Monitor cleaning supplies and promptly report when restocking is needed.
Adhere to safety and hygiene protocols, ensuring compliance with school standards.
Assist in maintaining the overall appearance of the school premises, including light outdoor cleaning where required.

Requirements

Minimum of SSCE qualification.
Prior experience in janitorial, cleaning, or related work is an advantage but not compulsory.
Ability to work diligently with minimal supervision.
Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
Trustworthy, punctual, and committed to duties.
