Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

Job Overview

• As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our telecommunications infrastructure.
• You will work with a team of engineers to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our network systems, supporting a wide range of communication services.
• This position requires advanced technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Key Responsibilities

Network Design and Implementation:

• Design and implement robust and scalable network solutions to meet business requirements.
• Evaluate and select appropriate network hardware and software.

Network Management:

• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network efficiency.
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.

Security and Compliance:

• Implement network security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security threats.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare reports on network performance and incident responses for management review.

Collaboration and Support:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and other IT staff.

Research and Development:

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Evaluate new tools and technologies to enhance network performance and security.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

• 5 - 10 years of experience in network engineering, preferably in a telecommunications environment and payment getway
• Extensive experience with routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS).

Certifications:

• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools.
• Strong understanding of network security practices and technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud networking and virtualization technologies is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
