Job Title: Senior Store Officer
Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Brief Description
- Plan, coordinate and maintain inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items. Secure warehouse, implement and maintain all stores and warehouses policies and procedures.
Duties
- Staff Management (No Shortage of Staff at any given point of time)
- Receiving of items from Production (On daily basis - Quantity produced by factory need to be moved 100% to Store under canopy storage)
- Oversee stocks movement inside store, CBU Container Offloading – No demurrage policy.
- Bank Release confirmation need to be sent with in 30mins of Delivery plan.
- PDI done on daily basis for Min/Max Quantity for each model.
- Responsible for Internal Bad stocks (All stocks should be in good condition)
- Store Management – Inventory Control, follow up for stock taking as per the company norms- Perpetual weekly & Monthly, Cleanliness & Hygiene on floor, Maintaining Stacking Norms. FIFO LIFO as applicable, Fire & Safety standards should be followed, Utilization of available resources, Damage Control, Effective utilization of Space.
- Store Documentation as per the process – (On time GRN’s submission 24HRS, updating bin cards)
- Quarterly – Stock Audit.
- Material handling training for casual loaders / mallams / In house Staffs (Quarterly)
- Warehouse resource planning (Loaders, Forklifts, Pallets trucks etc.)
- Take up IMS responsibilities such as reporting unsafe act, condition or procedure in the workplace, participating in fire or emergency drill at work, participating in incident reporting and investigation when necessary and adherence to Company policies.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc Degree with 5 - 8 years of work experience.
Competencies:
- Strong knowledge in stores operation
- Strong knowledge in accounting and bookkeeping
- Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data.
- Strong knowledge and experience on ERP system
- Strong knowledge of inventory, safety methods and procedures
- Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations.
- Strong planning, organizing and time management skills.
- Highly attentive to detail
